Mercovia S.A. (Argentina/Brazil)

The project was a fundamental step in the creation of the Bi-oceanic road corridor linking the Atlantic ports with the Pacific ports. The border station is the first unified station of the Mercosur trading zone, linking the cities of Santo Tome in Argentina and Sao Borja in Brazil. The Project also involves the bridge over the Uruguay river, the unified border station located on the Argentinean side and the access roads on both sides, built on embankments, which have a total length of approx. 15 km, a 7.30 m carriageway and two 3 m wide abutments and a Customs Area of approx. 100 hectares.
